How ExCo delivered precision on a tight radius for Four Avenues
Project overview
Eleven townhouses across two blocks — a front block of eight, a back block of three. Hayden Jones, Development Manager at Four Avenues, brought ExCo on to handle excavation, drainage, and hard landscaping across the site.
The challenge
The back block came first — excavated and filled without complication. The front block is a different job: the townhouses sit on a tight radius, so the excavation cutout has to land precisely enough to meet council building location certificates. There's little margin for error.
How ExCo approached it
ExCo packaged the excavation, drainage, and hard landscaping together, so the project wasn't waiting on separate contractors to pick up each piece. A timetable went out before work started; once it was reviewed and confirmed, ExCo tracked progress against it and checked in on site every couple of days, responding quickly whenever something came up. That same attention showed up in how precisely the front block's radius was cut. At handover, the site was left tidy, so the builders could move straight in.
